Enjoy Irish traditional music, song, dance and storytelling. Learn how Irish traditions are handed down from generation to generation in Rochester. See displays on Irish foodways, textiles, step dance traditions, and Rochester's Irish tradition bearers. Participate in children's activities. Free refreshments will be served.
Co-sponsors are the Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester; the Irish Musicians, Dancers, & Singers Association (Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann); and the Irish American Cultural Center for Western New York. This event is made possible with public funds from the Folk Arts Program of the New York State Council on the Arts, a State agency, and the Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester.
