Summer ArtWorks Final Celebration & Performances

Rochester, NY August 21, 2001- Arts & cultural Council for Greater Rochester's summer jobs program is pleased to announce the annual Art Exhibition, Sale and Performances on Thursday, August 23rd 2001 at School of the Arts, 45 Prince Street, Rochester. See the work produced by our 87 Apprentice Artists! These 14 and 15 year olds from the City of Rochester gained valuable work experience, learned new artistic skills by creating original drawings and sculptures, video, poetry, African dance, drumming and singing and theater performances. All sales will benefit the ArtWorks program.

Program

2:30- 6:00 pm Exhibition, Sale of Artwork and Poetry Book: School of the Arts Library

3:30- 5:00 pm Full Performance- Theater, Poetry, Video, and Dance & Drumming: Main Stage Theater

5:00- 5:30 pm Awards

5:30- 6:00 pm Reception: School of the Arts Commons
