Arts Council Seeking Nominations for
17th Annual Arts Awards
The Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester is seeking nominationsfor its 17th annual Arts Awards. Awards will be made to an Individual, Cultural Organization, Artist of Business/Foundation that has made an outstanding contribution to arts and culture in our region.The deadline to make nominations in the four categories is May 10, 2000.
The Awards will be presented at a luncheon on Thursday, October 12, 2000 at the Hyatt Regency Rochester.
Mail, e-mail or fax your nomination to Sally Gaskill, Executive Director; Arts & Cultural Council, 277 North Goodman Street, Rochester, NY 14607. Fax 473-4051; sg@artsrochester.org.
To make a nomination, send the following information in a letter to Sally Gaskill at the Arts Council.
- For both Nominator and Nominee, please provide Name, Address, Daytime Telephone, Fax, E-mail Category in which nomination is being made. Describe the nominee's specific and overall qualifications. You may wish to include
Number of years of service to the arts in greater Rochester Specific and overall contributions and impact on the community Constituencies served.For individuals, please include a resume.
For organizations, please include the name of a Contact Person and the organizations mission statement. Briefly describe the organizations current purpose and activities and why it merits the Cultural Organization Award.
- For all nominations: a limited number of support materials is welcome (news clips, brochures)
