The Print Club of Rochester is an organization devoted to the fine art of printmaking, including new ideas and directions in printmaking, freely combining multiple graphic techniques and manipulating traditional media with new technology. For 80 years, the Club has commissioned highly-accomplished artists to produce a limited number edition of fine art prints, which it then distributes to subscribers as a benefit. The club also annually presents an exhibition of work by its members. This year’s show at the Arts and Cultural Council Gallery, with awards juried by curator Nancy Green of the Johnson museum in Ithaca, will highlight a dynamic range of exceptional prints.

Not By Invitation Only:
Building Diversity in Arts Programming and Audiences

In 2007 the Arts & Cultural Council engaged in a Regional Cultural Diversity Needs Assessment as part of a long-term planning process. The final report summarizes the results and recommendations from the year-long process. The Needs Assessment, along with the Council's economic impact study, will serve as major inputs to the development of a Regional Cultural Strategy in the coming years.
